The watering hole is a large lake that never completely dries up, at least it hasn't in quite a few years. It is fed by a small underground spring which keeps water there even when the river stops flowing into it. This is a very socially active location with plenty of animals around. Cubs often come here to play and swim, and sometimes the pride will organize hunts for here as well.

the river is another incredible source of water for the pride lands. during the wet season it floods it's banks and creates large green pastures that the herds just love. along side the river at different locations are large rocks that cubs play around on and often jump off of. however, the river is not always so giving, during the dry season sometimes the water simply stops flowing..

In the center of the pridelands is a large group of rocks, in the center it is hallowed out, and is now a cavern. This island of rocks is used rarely by the pride---stories have it that this area is haunted.

Shaman's grove is a intensely magical and mystical area in the pride lands. in the center of this grove is a massive baobab tree that houses the pride's shaman rafiki. this place is very calming and often offers one peace from a troubled mind or spirit. on occasions the great spirit will make himself known. it is also rather common to see or communicate with the former great kings of the past while resting here.

Leopard rock is in the center of the pride land territory. it is a rather massive expanse of rocks and thick trees that provide shade and cover from the elements. most of the young lion cubs play here during the day and are often spotted playing with the lands leopard cubs as well. this place will also provide one shelter if they are in need of hiding--or time alone.

On the eastern side of the graveyard there is a large dark lake. This lake is the major source of water for the hyena's, and is a social point for them. On most hot days you will find a lot of the clan members either resting here or playing with their pups.

The skull dens are massive elephant skulls that are used for places to sleep.

The river seperates the outlands and pridelands. Along the river are a few large broken tree's that have made 'make shift' bridges between the two territories. Looking down from the tree bridges you'll see a swollen river, that is filled to the brim with angry crocodiles. Sometimes out of sheer desperation, the outsiders will attempt to hunt and kill these large reptiles.

The boulders are a nice little set of rocks that the cubs of the Outlands may play upon. These skills are very important to these cubs and often their play is quite exaggerated. When one claims the rocks as their own they proudly shout that they're the mighty King Scar!!

This underground cove is where a lot of the Outlanders enjoy coming to relax and converse, possibly even hold meetings. It also serves as a sleeping den and has many tunnels that lead in and out of the cave. The outside is hidden by trees and the outcropping of the boulder playground.

Towards the edge of the Outsiders territory is a vacant village. Many years ago a small clan of humans lived here, but they all died off from a mysterious disease. The huts and other items left by the humans are still in relatively good condition. This is a good place to relax and get away from whatever is bothering you. The huts make good shelter against the heat and sun, and offer a nice hiding place to spy prey from.

Sunlight beach is the pride's social gathering place. The lionesses bring their young cubs here to play and have fun in the shallow water. Along the beach are large rocks at various points where the pride rests. There are also trees that provide shelter on the really hot days.

Dead island is a place that very few pride member ever really seem to go. On this island is a small clan of hyena that are extremely territorial and dangerous. Cubs are forbidden to go here, but that doesn't mean they listen to their parents all the time.

The marsh surrounds all the islands of the wet lands territory. When the pride goes hunting they need to travel through the water. Sometimes it can be dangerous if a crocodile happens to be lounging nearby.

Black rocks is a area that the cubs come to play away from the watchful eye of the pride itself.

At the opposite end of the desert, far away from the pridelands, is a massive grassland. Many rogue live here, including small families and even smaller pride's call this area home. All animals live here including hyena which are normally chased out of pride territory.

The jungle meets the grassland at a number of points. Most consider this area to be a safe haven, and many live by 'hakuna matata'.
